Greetings
from the President
Welcome to the Contra Costa County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.!
We are proud to be part of a national organization that, for over 85 years, has nurtured Black children through leadership development, cultural education, service, and community engagement. Here in Contra Costa County, our chapter is grounded in that legacy and continues to grow because of the dedication of our mothers, the energy of our children, and the strength of our community.
Our theme for 2025–2027, Working with Purpose, Playing with Joy, Living in Balance, speaks to how we approach our time together. Whether we're volunteering in our community, planning educational activities for our children, or gathering as mothers, we aim to be intentional, joyful, and sustainable in all that we do. We believe that the way we work together matters just as much as what we accomplish and that authentic connection, thoughtful service, and rest are all part of how we thrive.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of events that reflect our commitment to Jack and Jill’s national thrusts: civic, cultural, educational, health, recreational, and social programming. From grade group events to regional leadership opportunities, community giving, and chapter-wide celebrations, our families are active, involved, and centered in purpose.
We also recognize that our impact reaches beyond our chapter. By partnering with nonprofits, supporting local initiatives, and raising funds for organizations that serve children and families, we are proud to be part of a broader movement for equity and empowerment.
Thank you for visiting our website and learning more about our work. Whether you're a prospective member, a community partner, or a fellow Jack and Jill family, we’re glad you’re here and invite you to stay connected with us.
Warmly,
Christine Pauley
